In the month of May the passage of the Millemiglia is relived. The Mille Miglia was a long-distance road car competition held in Italy in 24 editions between 1927 and 1957. It was a road race with start and finish in Brescia in which the competitors reached Rome through central-northern Italy. The name of the race derives from the length of the route; in fact, despite several variations over the years, it remained approximately 1600 kilometers long, equivalent to approximately one thousand imperial miles.<\/p>\n\n
Since 1977, the Mille Miglia has been revived in the form of a historical regularity race in stages whose participation is limited to cars, produced before 1957, which had participated (or were registered) in the original race.
